Snowmobile Tours in Yellowstone National Park

Snowmobiles are one of the two options for motorized travel into Yellowstone’s wintry interior during the months of December to March (from the West Entrance). Snowmobile tours, which depart daily, offer expert local guides.

Daily tour options travel to Old Faithful or the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone waterfall area. Reservations are required, and you can purchase a single seat or a double seat snowmobile.

Note: Personal machines and unguided parties are not allowed. Commercially non-guided trips are available through a lottery system, which takes place in September.
