The Town of West Yellowstone Parks & Recreation Department is committed to enhancing the quality of life for residents and visitors through affordable year-round social, physical, recreational, and cultural programs. What began as a seasonal day camp for children has grown into a diverse lineup of activities and events designed to engage community members of all ages.

From youth programs and adult activities to fitness opportunities and special events, the department strives to create experiences that foster health, connection, and lifelong memories. In addition to offering recreational programming, Parks & Recreation oversees and maintains the town’s beautiful park spaces and manages community gathering venues, including the Povah Community Center and the historic Union Pacific Dining Lodge.
