Most Yellowstone entrances and roads, including th Most Yellowstone entrances and roads, including the west entrance and road are closed at this time. The only road open year-round is the road between the north entrance and northeast entrance. Guided snowcoach and snowmobile tours start Dec. 15.
You cannot drive into the west entrance of Yellows You cannot drive into the west entrance of Yellowstone, but can walk in on the Riverside Trail. The trailhead is off of Boundary Street on the east side of West Yellowstone. Bring your spray!
